... .. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . In June 2009 a group of optmetry from the US and Holland came to Hanga Abbey to prescrible eye glasses for people in need. The group was led by Dr. Ed Tuhy, an eye Doctor from Kamath Falls, Oregon - USA. A total of 2000 pairs of glasses were distributed for free for Hanga villagers and beyond.
