A New Laboratory at Hanga Health Center

Hanga Health Center has been progressing steadily expanding health services for the rural population around Hanga. For quite some time the Health Center clinical laboratory has been too cramped with many tools and equipment. Fortunately, towards the end of 2024 a structure has been established for the clinical laboratory to cater for various equipment for clinical diagnoses and services. The congestion problem of the laboratory is finally solved. The new building will be very convenient as it will have ample space to provide friendlier working environment. Thanks to the benefactors and the Mission office of the Congregation of Saint Ottilien for the funding.

We are proud of Hanga Health Center through which many poor people can be served at affordable costs. And with the presence of a clinical laboratory many services are offered including surgeries and blood transfusion. Expectant mothers and babies have been given priority. A significant number of expectant women need operations during delivery.
